Paul Klee Abstract Art

Born in 1879, Swiss painter Paul Klee is one of the most important artists of the 20th century. His work is renowned for its childlike simplicity, and consequent lack of dramatic urgency. It reflects his life's philosophy, “As a child I wanted to be a painter because painting seemed to me the only way to go on living”.
